HARTMAN ELECTRONICS MAIN

JUNE 2008

We are pleased to welcome LA Sound Design to our family of dealers.  I am also pleased to welcome Takezo (Yoshinobu Takeda) to the shop.  Takezo is a former piano-builder gone guitar-technician, and a stunning blues player.  He's got bench chops and to match and it's great to have him aboard.

People are digging the Flanger, LA Producer Greg Hampton (Alice Cooper, Ronnie Wood, Jack Casady, Tommy Bolin) and 311's Tim Mahoney among them.  We're shipping all units with internal make-up gain stage to correct for the originals' volume drop problem.  We're also using Creme pointer knobs now (like the two pedals in the lower left of the photo above) instead of the gold knobs.  Hope to update photos soon.

Some new products under development, more killer fuzz, some stuff I gotta keep mum for now, and a pedal we're co-developing with Backline (see below): 100% Analog signal path, 100% digital brain....stay tuned.

We love what we do here, sincere thanks to our customers for making it possible. -Theo

March 2008 Hartman is pleased to announce a strategic alliance with Backline Engineering.  Backline's pioneering line of DSP-enabled Intelligent FX, and the fully programmable Class A Zentone 7 Tube Amp are now for sale available directly from our site.  We look forward to working with Backline to bring digital and analog music technology together in new--and better--ways.
