Our Hartman LM308 Op-Amp Distortion pedal now features an updated FET clipping mode. The full, open overdrive reminiscent of gentle 12AX7 tube clipping provides a great contrast to the dense, aggressive sizzle of primary (Rat-style) mode of distortion. The relative volume levels of the two modes can now be matched (or intentionally mismatched to use one channel as a boost) via an internal trimmer for on-the-fly switching between distortion styles.

It's an honor to be working with Mark Karan this spring. Mark's new solo album Walk Through the Fire hits the shelves June 30th as he heads out on the road for summer tours with his band, Jemimah Puddleduck, and with Bob Weir & Ratdog. WTTF combines original material, a few well-chosen covers (including some Dead) and a stunning cast of musical talent. I'm also very happy to announce that Marc Copely has incorporated several Hartman pedals into his touring rig this summer as he heads out on the road with Billy Squier. A guitarist raised on the blues, Marc is also an accomplished, composer and producer whose recent engagements include work with U2's Bono & Edge, appearances with the Boston Symphony Orchestra, Karsh Kale & others. Marc is releasing his 2nd solo album, Harp & Plow, this June. The new music will be available through Marc's website as well as at all of Billy Squier's shows this summer. Check it out!
