    Q: Does HARTMAN Electronics Ship Overseas?

    Yes, we will ship anywhere in the world.

    Q: What carriers can I choose from?

    At this time you can choose between United States Postal Service (USPS) and United Parcel Service (UPS).  We offer USPS Priority (fast) and Express (faster).  UPS has a range of speeds from Ground to Overnight.

    Q: What's the difference between the carriers?

    Generally speaking USPS is a bit cheaper for the speed, but UPS has tighter tracking.

    Q: How reliable are they?

    Both are great but neither is perfect.  It is much easier to know exactly where your package is in transit using UPS tracking than it is with USPS. 

    Q: What happens if my pedal is lost in transit to me?

    We offer shipping insurance as an option for any purchase.  Rates are on the pedal pages.  Most lost shipments eventually turn up, usually back at the sender's doorstep (ours).  This can take weeks, even months with overseas shipments.  If you'd rather not wait some undetermined period of time to find out whether it shows up (at which point our normal course of action would be to send it to you again at our expense), YOU MUST PURCHASE SHIPPING INSURANCE IN AN AMOUNT SUFFICIENT TO COVER YOUR PURCHASE.  If you do this, Hartman Electronics can file a claim with the carrier for the lost parcel and ship you a replacement pedal out much more quickly.   USPS requires 30 days to expire after ship date before a claim can be filed.

    Q: What about my ultra-rare expensive 196?  _______ pedal I sent to you for mods?

    Hartman Electronics will return ship your pedals using the carrier and insurance amount you specify.  UPS will only insure in the case of loss--but in most cases this is the only contingency that really matters.  In the event of loss Hartman can file claim with the carrier and reimburse you up to the amount you specified for insurance.  It is worth noting this has never happened, but if it does, this is how we will handle it.

      



  • Sales Tax

  • HARTMAN Electronics, Inc. charges sales tax for merchandise ordered on this Web site based on the applicable state sales tax rate and the location to which the order is being shipped.



  • Warranties

  • One Year Warranty on Parts and Labor.
